The 24-year-old singer is getting desperate for a guy. She hates going to events alone, but she’s even more worried about how she’ll survive her upcoming tour, says a friend:
“Lily hates being single — she needs a man in her life. She feels insecure going to events and hates turning up without a man. She wants someone to hold her hand for all the red carpet events she attends. She’s even been asking friends to set her up on dates. She can’t seem to meet anyone, and it’s making her miserable…
Lily’s vulnerable after her relationships failed. She is especially concerned about going on tour without a boyfriend there for her backstage. She needs a man to take care of her, and to give her attention. Without that, she fears she’ll go off the rails.”
So we see Lily needs a man… or a therapist. Probably just the therapist.
I don’t know if this true. I don’t want it to be true.
But Hollywood Dame is reporting that Gwen Stefani and husband Gavin Rossdale might be heading for a divorce. Unofficially it’s over, but the two are supposedly waiting until they’re done touring to make an announcement. In the meantime, Gavin’s been seeing other ladies.
This is one of the cutest little families. I am going to be very upset if that’s the way it turns out.

Is it possible that Britney Spears might actually consider taking Kevin Federline back?
According to Star magazine’s source, ever since Kevin started spending time with the singer while they’re touring, some of the old feelings seem to be resurfacing:
“The truth is, they’re falling in love again. I don’t think they ever really fell out of love to begin with… [There's been been] some kissing. It started when they agreed that Kevin would take the boys on tour. They’ve shared a lot of flirty moments.”
Is it rekindled love? Or is Kevin remembering the glamorous life he left behind and trying to get it back?
Lady Gaga has an interesting view on making an album… she says it’s like dating a “few men at once.” But casual dating, not serious, I-remember-your-last-name dating.
The singer has a way with words. After mentioning that her upcoming tour with be the “ultimate creative orgasm,” Lady Gaga said creating a new album is like starting multiple relationships at once:
“Writing a record is like dating a few men at once. You take them to the same restaurants to see if they measure up, and at some point you decide who you like best. When you make music or write or create, it’s really your job to have mind-blowing, irresponsible sex with whatever idea it is you’re writing about at the time.”
I’m not a song writer, so maybe that’s why I’m surprised by this philosophy. Is that the prevailing theory of album writing? Any musicians want to weigh in?
Without question, Kingston Rossdale holds rank in the world of rock royalty. That two-year-old has better clothes, better hair, and more personality than any other celebuspawn out there, so it’s no wonder he’s going on tour.
Sure, this tour is technically headed by his dad Gavin, but it’s just a formality. Who’d want to see an old Rossdale when they could see Kingston?
Gavin spoke to People.com about bringing his son on the road… as if he was doing the kid a favor:
“I’ll take Kingston for as long as he wants, so I try to drum that into him: ‘Are you ready to go on tour? Are you ready to go on tour?’ It’s going to be fun! Just get him bunks so he won’t fall out — that’s the main thing.”
Of course it’s going to fun. You can’t look at that face and believe otherwise.
We may be in for more wild Lily Allen stories, now that the singer has taken to drinking again before her shows.
Last November, Lily swore off drugs and booze, not wanting “to give people any more ammunition to make me feel silly.” But she insists to The Sun she didn’t have an alcohol problem and that a few drinks make her a better performer:
“Last night I had my first drink. There’s no way I can get on stage without a drink. I think I’m funnier when I’ve had a few. I didn’t find it difficult to stop drinking, I didn’t even think about it. I haven’t really needed a drink but now I’m on tour, it’s fun drinking sometimes.”
This seems like a very bad idea given some of her past antics… unless the purpose is publicity. Because that could work.
Jamie Spears is going to have to find a new way to keep his superstar daughter in line. Britney’s lined up for a 33-city tour that’s set to kick off March 3, but she’s threatening to pull out of the performances.
The official Britney Spears website brightly shows Britney practicing her comeback moves, but a source told the National Enquirer that the singer might be stalling out:
“Britney doesn’t want to do it, and she’s telling her father Jamie that. All the dates are booked — and $100 million would be lost if she bails. Both her father and ex-husband Kevin Federline are telling her she has to go on for the sake of her kids and their financial future. So Britney is really feeling the pressure, and she says she can’t handle the tour’s whirlwind schedule. She is already exhausted getting in shape for the trip. And her focus has changed, too — Britney just wants to be a stay-at-home mom to her two boys. Britney feels like she is being forced to tour. Jamie has made it clear he wants to get her back to where she was. Britney can’t back out now — there’s just too much at stake. But her friends are asking if she can juggle all this pressure and keep from having another meltdown.”
It looks like some of the critics who said this album and tour were too soon may have been right. But let’s hope for the best — no one wants another Britney meltdown.
Mariah is working this angle for all it’s worth. Whether she’s knocked up or not, this woman obviously wants the attention the rumors are bringing… even at the expense of others.
The singer just canceled a string of performances, reportedly because of the pregnancy. A source for the New York Daily News said that the announcement wasn’t met with cheers:
“Costume designers and dancers were all called Wednesday and told the tour is off. Most were hysterically crying because they were relying on her for a paycheck this holiday season.”
Since Janet Jackson’s string of cancellations, she actually has made some of her concert dates. Last night she played NYC’s Madison Square Garden as part of the Rock Witchu tour. Janet’s in great shape, and I’m so glad her health has improved, but… these costumes look a little bit like they belong on a 90s superhero, don’t you think?
