Lindsay Lohan and sister Ali did a little post break-up stress shopping yesterday, and the starlet is wearing real color for the first time in forever.
Is that a good sign, indicating she sees this as a new chapter in her life? Or does it mean she slept on the floor of Ali’s room, whimpering as she wiped her tears with Kleenex and threw back a few goodnight shots of vodka and had to borrow clothes in the morning?
Either way, it’s good to see normal behaviors and hues coming from Lindsay.

Rumors of a break-up between Rihanna and Chris Brown have been flying this past week, and pictures like these don’t calm them at all. Rihanna rarely lets her man out of her sight, but the two haven’t been spotted together in what seems like ages.
Yesterday, Rihanna went shopping with friends at The Grove in Los Angeles, where the singer looked more somber than usual. Is this a cheer-up-and-get-out-of-the-house activity? Seems like a possibility…

The heiress noticed recently that the economy was affecting people in her life — though she admits it hasn’t hurt her income in the slightest — and decided to do something about it. While other multi-millionaires are cutting back, Paris is continuing to spend extravagantly to spur the economy.
Paris told Heat magazine, “It’s really scary about the economy right now. So the way I’m playing my part in helping is doing a lot of shopping wherever I go.”
She even vowed to only buy clothes from American designers!

Wow… it seems like the divorce between Gossip Girl actress Kelly Rutherford and husband Daniel Giersch is becoming more like middle school bickering than a legal proceeding.
Giersch recently accused Rutherford of having an obsession with shopping and manicures. Shocking, I know! Definitely reason for her to lose custody of 2-year-old Hermes. But instead of wryly pointing out the silliness of the claim, Rutherford shot back, “It’s not just me. I mean, he gets his eyebrows waxed!”
Girls, girls, calm down. I’m sure we can talk all this out after a day at the spa.
After getting her hair chopped, Paris Hilton went shopping.
You practically need a new wardrobe when you change hair colors, but even hair length can affect the way clothes look… so I understand why she wanted to pick up a few things at Arcade in LA. The problem is Paris didn’t pick up anything… literally.
The heiress grabbed clothes, tried them on, then tossed the expensive items on the dirty floor. Staff had to rush over and rescue the merchandise. When she had chosen what she wanted, Paris handed someone her credit card through the changing room curtain.
While out shopping yesterday in London, British Princess Beatrice’s birthday gift from her father — a black BMW — sped away without her. The plucky royal didn’t give in to hysterics or other such nonsense. Instead, she met up with her sister, Princess Eugenie, at a pub nearby while police looked into the matter.
Onlookers didn’t even know there was a problem by the way the girls were acting. The bar manager told the Daily Mirror, “They looked very cool and it didn’t seem anything was wrong.”
See, I think that’s one of the advantages of being British — the inherent stiff upper lip (I watched previews for Last Chance Harry, and Emma Thompson told me about it) that enables them to be stoic and handle anything. I would’ve started crying or throwing things after the car, because if it was going to get stolen, the thieves would at least have to put up with some dents.
Mariah Carey and hubby Nick Cannon are spending Christmas up in Aspen, Colorado in the lodge Nick bought for his new wife. They were out and about yesterday, finishing up the last of their shopping despite the cold.
