Paris Jackson misses her dad.

And while her brothers Prince and Blanket do, too, the 11-year-old girl doesn’t want to leave her grandmother’s side or even sleep because of the dreams a Now magazine’s source says she’s having:

“She was her daddy’s girl. He was her best friend and he was so proud of her. She’s really heartbroken and she misses him so much. She keeps having dreams that he’s still alive, then when she wakes up and realizes he’s dead, she starts sobbing. It’s horrible. Prince Michael has been great — he’s rising to the occasion and trying to be strong, but he’s suffering, too.”

Poor little girl. I hope she’s getting the hugs and support she needs from her extended family.

So I don’t think I even knew there was a Rebbie Jackson, but the 59-year-old sister to Michael is probably the one who will raise his kids. The family reportedly agrees that Katherine will get legal custody, but will let her daughter do the day-to-day.

This would be a much better idea than any others that have been floated. Rebbie lives in Vegas, hasn’t proposed sending the kids on the road as the Jackson 3, and can obviously sing beautiful lullabies to help babies sleep.

Kids, meet your new mommy.

Someone finally told Joe Jackson that he is never ever going to get custody of his grandchildren. So according to People’s source, he figured his next best bet was to help his wife gain guardianship:

“Joe is willing to do whatever it takes to make sure Katherine gets those kids, even if it means stepping aside. He knows he’s done nothing wrong, but he’s willing to sign papers saying he doesn’t live with Katherine and won’t be involved in the raising of Michael’s kids.”

Good! There’s a reason Michael left his dad out of his will and did not put him on the list of potential guardians for the children.

Everyone’s worst fears for Michael Jackson’s kids might be realized.

Joe Jackson is getting serious about pushing his grandbabies into show business, and reportedly plans to take them on tour in 2010. Ian Halperin — a biographer and someone who predicted Michael’s fragile and perhaps terminal state — says that Joe is already taking steps toward launching their careers:

“Joe wants the children to go on a world tour in 2010. He has also already offered recording contracts to two of Michael’s kids. Now he is talking about getting them th world’s best backing band and taking them on tour as The Jackson Three… One of the family members is livid. He is saying Joe seems intent to do this no matter what.”

This is so clearly not something their father would’ve wanted for them — he kept their faces covered by masks and sheets whenever they went outdoors, for goodness’ sake. Is anyone going to stand up to Joe and protect the kids? It’s not like he has legal custody, and the children all minors — if recording contracts have been offered (and even if they’ve been signed), they aren’t legally binding. Only Katherine can approve.

Let’s hope she doesn’t.

Katherine Jackson made a deal with her son’s ex-wife Debbie Rowe.

According to the Sunday Mirror’s source, Debbie agreed to a monthly supervised visit instead of fighting for custody, in return for Katherine being the sole custodian of the three children:

“The last thing [Debbie] wanted was for those kids to be looked after by Joe and go through what Michael went through. Michael [had] poured out his heart about how much he loathed Joe for what he had done.” (via Show Biz Spy)

If that’s true, it sounds like the kids will actually be somewhat protected. But I hope Diana Ross keeps an eye on things…

Custody hearings for Michael’s three children — Prince, Paris, and Blanket — were supposed to begin this past week, but it seems all the grown-ups asked for a delay. The biggest reason is that Debbie Rowe says she hasn’t yet decided if she wants her babies.

What that really means is she’s hoping the Jackson family will pay her off. Joe is trying to do the math and figure out how much the kids are worth to him (and Katherine) if he pushes them into entertainment careers, and if it’s worth it to give Debbie some cash.

Who do you think is going to end up with those kids?

Joe Jackson wants custody of his son’s three kids, because he wants to take care of them… and shove them into the entertainment industry like he did with his own children.

I guess old habits die hard.

When asked who should raise Michael’s family, Joe volunteered:

“Their grandmother — Katherine — and I. Yes, there’s no one else to do what we can do for them. We should keep them all togther and then make them happy, feed ‘em like they’re supposed to be fed, and let them get rest, plenty of sleep and grow up to be strong Jacksons…

I keep watching Paris. She… wants to do something. And as far as I can see, well, they say Blanket, he can really dance.” (via MTV)

That seems like a good idea. It certainly worked well for Michael to be raised and guided by Joe. He obviously grew into a well-adjusted and balanced person who didn’t need a rumored 10 Xanax every night to sleep.

Today is Michael Jackson’s funeral, but one close friend has announced that she won’t be attending.

Explaining her reasoning on Twitter, Elizabeth Taylor admitted she just wasn’t up to it:

“I just don’t believe that Michael would want me to share my grief with millions of others. How I feel is between us. Not a public event. I cannot be a part of the public whoopla. And I cannot guarantee that I would be coherent to say a word. I will always love Michael from the depth of my being and nothing can separate us. My love goes out to Katherine and Michael’s beloved children.”

Interesting side note, few people have mentioned sending love to Joe Jackson…

Diana Ross was so close to being the mother of Michael Jackson’s kids.

It was revealed that in his will — which was filed today — Michael requested that Diana take his children and raise them if his own mother was deceased.

But Katherine Jackson is still alive, so the kiddies are being sent into the home where Michael claims he was abused while growing up. Awesome idea.

Michael Jackson’s parents are already trying to make grabs at whatever money and property that’s left in their son’s estate. Joe and Katherine filed papers yesterday asking for control of it.

But what they don’t seem to know is that Michael left a will.

Who do you think is going to benefit from this thing? And do you think Joe and Katherine are worried?
