I’ll admit it… last summer’s playlist featured Jesse McCartney’s song, Leaving. I drove around listening with my windows down, played it while I did laundry and cooked dinner, and danced around in my underwear with it blasting in the background.
Don’t judge too harshly… I haven’t even yet mentioned that the next song in the line-up was NKOTB’s Summertime.
But all of that is to say… it’s going to be another McCartney summer, I can already feel it. It makes my heart happy and my skin tan faster when I hear this year’s How Do You Sleep?

After denying her pregnancy (and a glass of champagne!) on Ellen, Mariah’s been spotted in LA coming out of a doctor’s office… holding what looked like a sonogram. The people waiting for her greeted her with cheers.
Do you think this rumor holds water? Mariah wants to be a mom, and her mixed messages about the pregnancy make for good publicity…
If she isn’t, the singer certainly didn’t make a good case for it while on Ellen the other day. Ever since the show aired, everyone’s been speculating. Why isn’t Mariah wearing her signature skintight clothing? Why wouldn’t she drink the champagne? Why didn’t she just say, “Definitely not with child”?
After posting a video blog that mentioned her split from Joe Jonas, Taylor Swift chatted with Ellen Degeneres about the break-up details. Ellen asked Taylor if Joe had really ended things over the phone.
“It’s all right — I’m cool. You know what, it’s like, when I find that person that is right for me, he’ll be wonderful. When I look at that person, I’m not even going to remember the boy who broke up with me over the phone in 27 seconds when I was 18… [The split] was, like, a record, I think, for how quick. I looked at the call log — it was like 27 seconds. That’s got to be a record.”
