Mariah Carey and hubby Nick Cannon are spending Christmas up in Aspen, Colorado in the lodge Nick bought for his new wife. They were out and about yesterday, finishing up the last of their shopping despite the cold.

The “rapper/actor” just bought his new wife a ski lodge in Aspen, Colorado for $1.5 million as an early Christmas gift. A source told the Daily Mirror, “Nick is clearly still in the honeymoon phase. He’s shocked all their pals by going out of his way to buy Mariah this beautiful sanctuary. He knows Aspen is one of her favorite places in the world so this is his early Christmas present to her.”
Little does he know, Mariah’s already purchased her Christmas gift for him, too.
