It seems like there’s been of a backlash against all the Photoshopping.
Harper’s Bazaar published a refreshing spread in their September issue, showing high-profile models without makeup and without any touch-ups. Of course the women are still gorgeous — their genes and their access to the best skincare certainly contribute. But the obvious beauty is enhanged — in my opinion — by the addition of their flaws. It also encourages an appreciation for the real beauty we can see in the faces we pass every day.
So am I inspired to skip my own makeup today? Not a chance. But baby steps toward feeling more comfortable in one’s body are always good.

Poor baby Stewie. He’s only a year old, but Seth MacFarlane’s already outed him as gay.
Whatever happened to letting people do it at their own speed, when they’re ready?
In an interview that appears in the September issue of Playboy, Seth admits the issue almost became an episode… but then they held back:
“We had an episode that went all the way to the script phase in which Stewie does come out. It had to do with the harassment he took from other kids at school. He ends up going back in time to prevent a passage in Leviticus from being written: ‘Thou shalt no lie with mankind as with womankind. It is an abomination.’
But we decided it’s better to keep it vague, which makes more sense because a one-year-old. Ultimately, Stewie will be gay or a very unhappy repressed heterosexual. It also explains why he’s so hellbent on killing [his mother, Lois] and taking over th world: He has a lot of aggression, which comes from confusion and uncertainty about his orientation.”
Other revelations will be made this season, too, and Seth only revealed some of them in the interview. Like, Lois finds out she’s Jewish. And Meg’s life continues to suck, and Peter is still dumb, and…
I think the surprising part isn’t that Stewie wants to kill Lois, but that he doesn’t want to kill everyone in that family… or at least exile them to a faraway land.
I don’t like Scarlett Johansson. I reminded you of that yesterday. So it figures she’d record a song I thought was cute and then make an adorable music video to go with it.

Speaking of pregnant women, Kendra Wilkinson’s baby is growing. The former Girl Next Door had an ultrasound yesterday, and doctors revealed the gender. Kendra of course blogged about it immediately:
“Hi everyone. I just left the doctor’s office and I couldn’t wait another minute to tell you guys…Hank and I are having a baby boy!!!!!!!!!!!! AHHHHHH!!!!!! When the doctor told me I was just like OH MY GOD, I’m going to have a son!!!!! Today is certainly always going to be one of the most memorable days of my life!
Whether this little guy is a jock or not, he’s definitely going to be a mama’s boy. And, there’s no doubt he’s gonna be a handsome one…just look at his dad!
Hank and I can’t wait to get started decorating the nursery and stocking his closet full of teeny tiny Eagles jerseys (and Chargers ones too hahahaha).

The not-yet-divorced dad was looking at Mercedes and Porsches the other day with 22-year-old girlfriend Hailey Glassman. He’s decided it’s tim to replace the BMW he bought a few months ago, now that he’s in his mid-life crisis and all.
On a related note, Jon tried to tell his daughters (when they asked what he had stuck in his ears) that he’s had piercings since he was a teenager and just decided to start wearing his trusty diamond studs again. Even his daughters thought that was douchey.
Ugh. I can’t wait till he runs out of money and can’t afford to do paparazzi-worthy activities anymore. He’ll just sit inside eating TV dinners. That will be a glorious day.
