We’ve all been waiting for Miley Cyrus and Nick Jonas to sing together again, right?
Oh no, that’s right, we don’t care. Hmm. Well, they are just the same, but they’re joined by some other Disney stars for the new song Send It On. It will help usher in Disney’s “Friends For Change: Project Green.”
It’s great to see such teenage emotion over cliched lyrics, though, so don’t miss the music video.
Part of me wants to believe that Joe Jonas purposely beat his brother’s hand with a drumstick… you know, sibling rivalry that just came gushing out on stage.
Doesn’t seem likely though, because it makes him look like a doofus. While Nick tries to take care of his hand, Kevin “entertains” the crowd by reading the signs fans brought. That was an inspired idea.
Following Kevin Jonas’ proposal to his girlfriend, younger brother Nick gave Miley Cyrus a ring, too. This one isn’t an engagement ring, but it’s a gold band with a heart-shaped diamond. Promise ring?
A source who spoke to Twist magazine said the gift was just because:
“It’s sweet and appropriate for her age. Of course, Miley thought it was perfect and beautiful. They are a very happy couple these days. They are too young to marry, certainly, but who knows what the future will bring?”
Lots and lots of cross promotion, I’m sure.
Speaking of Disney stars baring their hearts on Twitter, it seems that Miley Cyrus wanted to share her emotions last night (and into the morning). Despite being linked to Nick Jonas again, her updates indicated she was single and trying not to be depressed about it:

Okay… someone needs to turn off her computer, disconnect her phone from Twitter, and just be her friend.
It’s old news that Miley Cyrus broke up with boyfriend Justin Gaston, but few people knew how it went down. Until now.
According to Fox News, Miley sat down with Justin and told him that she had never gotten over Nick and working with him again was bringing back old feelings. According to Fox’s source, Nick’s family thinks this is a good professional move for the young singer:
“One day Miley was with Justin, the next she was with Nick again! His family is thrilled with the reunion. Nick’s mom always loved Miley and in light of their Disney show, J.O.N.A.S. tanking in the ratings lately, the entire Jonas camp is excited. There’s a hope that their renewed romance will benefit everyone…
[Miley and Nick] still manage to speak daily and send texts and Tweets all day long to each other. After Nick gets done performing they usually video chat online late into the night. Every night! It seems to work for them and both are happier than normal. They are very sweet together.”
While Miley understandably wasn’t ready to settle down with Justin, that’s a rotten way to break up. Note to 20-year-olds looking for a teen queen to date — don’t.
Now that his heart’s been broken and stomped upon by Miley Cyrus and her gleeful reunion with ex-boyfriend Nick Jonas, Justin Gaston’s gone and gotten a tattoo. And it’s… uh, awesome.
He TwitPiced it with the message, “Here you go.. New tattoo.. It stands for psalm 150 because it’s the last psalm.. Get it? Get it? No? Okay ..Hope you like.”
For those of you who don’t know what the “last psalm” says, I’ve included it below.

Is this Justin’s way of saying he’s relieved the relationship is over?

Can we just enjoy for a minute the captions that run at the bottom of the screen? Whoever was formatting them had a sense of humor, as evidenced by “JOE: I HAVE A GIRLFRIEND” and then in smaller letters below, “not as famous as Miley Cyrus.”

While they didn’t mean for us to hear the Nick and Miley duet quite yet, the Jonas Brothers did purposely release this new music video for Fly With Me.
My favorite part may be where Joe pulls down his cap repeatedly to the beat. Uhhh… yeah. If you’re thinking it doesn’t take much to amuse me on a Hump Day, you’d be right.
Before the Storm wasn’t supposed to make it to the internet quite yet, but the Nick Jonas and Miley Cyrus duet leaked sometime this past weekend. Originally just a Jonas Brothers’ song, the former sweethearts decided to change some of the words and sing it together.
Nick talked to Twist Magazine about how it happened:
“There’s two versions of the song basically, one that was written just for our record that we sang originally. And then I played it for Miley and we realized that if we just changed the lyrics a bit, we could make it more of our story, kind of share that side of us, and it could be great. So, we did.
She came in and she and I sat down at the piano and just worked on lyrics a bit, tweaked it up, and it turned out great.”
The song was leaked just as rumors began swirling again that Miley and current boyfriend, Justin Gaston, might be breaking up. Oops…
It’s been rumored that Disney starlet Selena Gomez has been seeing New Moon actor Taylor Lautner on the sly. But Selena says that thanks to her relationship with Nick Jonas, she has no desire to date someone famous:
“I used to say that I wanted someone cute and nice, and an actor, too. But now I think it would be good for me to date someone who’s not in the business.”
Which means one of two things. Thing One: she isn’t dating Taylor and she’s avoiding stars and hogging the spotlight. Thing Two: Selena is pulling a Ginnifer Goodwin and lying so we don’t suspect she IS dating Taylor!
I’m pretty sure it’s number two. You can count on my intuition and detective skills, because I read a lot of Nancy Drew books growin up.
