Brooke Hogan went on the radio to talk about all the people she doesn’t like. And then she said she loves “every black person.” Too bad one of the people she said she didn’t like was Beyonce, who happens to be black, too.
Brooke must be experiencing so much cognitive dissonance right now.
We’ve all been waiting for Miley Cyrus and Nick Jonas to sing together again, right?
Oh no, that’s right, we don’t care. Hmm. Well, they are just the same, but they’re joined by some other Disney stars for the new song Send It On. It will help usher in Disney’s “Friends For Change: Project Green.”
It’s great to see such teenage emotion over cliched lyrics, though, so don’t miss the music video.
For those days when she doesn’t want to give off the stripper/streetwalker vibe, Miley Cyrus puts on an argyle sweater and some glasses. Of course, when she poses for her self-portraits, she still tries to imbue the image with some of that “When I’m good I’m very, very good, but when I’m bad…” eye work.
The 16-year-old singer — who recently worked a pole at the Teen Choice Awards — showed her Twitter followers the lastest “smart girl” frames she’s sporting.
Today we’re probably going to see a lot of posts about the Teen Choice Awards last night. I didn’t watch them, but it seems that they spawned all sorts of stories and rumors and questionable clothing choices.
First example: Miley Cyrus. The clothes aren’t bad looking, per se. They just make it clear that Miley was 1) coached about how to pose, 2) with a skirt that short she was GOING for a crotch shot, and 3) if singing and acting don’t work out, she’s going to make a fantastic street walker.
UPDATE: Oh, yes, Miley definitely is preparing for another career. Check out her performance… those hip thrusts and her pole work are good. She needs a little practice, but she’s only 16. By the time she’s legal she’ll be awesome.
Miley Cyrus is safe.
Her creepy 53-year-old stalker, Mark McLeod, was arrested today in Georgia while hanging around her movie set. He was trying to “contact” the teenaged actress who, he’s in the past admitted, he plans to marry.
Scary! Glad he’s locked away, at least for now.
The very heavens have opened up to pour out glittery happiness and blessing, because my greatest hope and desire has come true. Thanks to Miley Cyrus and her new line of clothing at Wal-Mart, I can now dress in a way that a 16-year-old girl thinks is stylish. Her opinion, by the way, is based off of what I (and a lot of other people) have been wearing for approximately 18 months now.
You will see leggings. You will see plaid tunics. You will seezzzzzzzzzzzzzzz…
So boring, but must.stay.awake. Yeah, take a peek at some of her creations below. I’m glad they’re budget friendly, and all, but I’m sure some of these items have already made it to the thrift stores by now.
This came out a few days ago, and I ignored it. Because I don’t tend to like Miley Cyrus’ music.
But this is one of her better attempts. She’ll definitely be embarrassed by it in a few years (come on, it’s called Party in the USA — how can that be a proud moment?), but it beats her Hoedown Showdown or whatever it was called. So I feel like the right thing to do is to acknowledge that I judged a little too quickly.
Over coffee this morning, some friends and I discussed stalkers. We’ve all had them, and they’ve been varying degrees of weird… from just creepily showing up everywhere in a way that indicates someone’s been followed or researched, all the way to gifts and letters showing up in the mailbox and hearing that some stranger is claiming one of us as a girlfriend. So that was a fun conversation.
But even those scary moments pale in comparison to Miley Cyrus’ friend Mark McLeod, who was arrested last month on Miley’s movie set on Tybee Island, Georgia. He’d made some rude comments to young girls, and admitted to police he’d been following the actress for several days.
Actually, he’s been following her for months — because the video below was filmed in March.
Creeeeeeeepy.
Worse? Police don’t know where he is now… but LAPD is on the look-out should he show up and bother Miley.

Connor Cruise is suffering from pangs of puppy love. The adopted son of Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman, Connor recently worked on the set of Hannah Montana. A source who spoke to Star magazine dished about the crush he developed:
“Tom thought it would be a good experience for him to see how other performers around his age work. It started as business — but Miley was so sweet, Connor couldn’t help having feelings for her!”
While I’m sure it’s embarrassing to have your first love broadcast everywhere, it’s so nice to hear something sweet like that.
Following Kevin Jonas’ proposal to his girlfriend, younger brother Nick gave Miley Cyrus a ring, too. This one isn’t an engagement ring, but it’s a gold band with a heart-shaped diamond. Promise ring?
A source who spoke to Twist magazine said the gift was just because:
“It’s sweet and appropriate for her age. Of course, Miley thought it was perfect and beautiful. They are a very happy couple these days. They are too young to marry, certainly, but who knows what the future will bring?”
