In case you were wondering, Amy Winehouse was found not guilty of assaulting a fan. She walked out of the courthouse graciously, as always…

Now the real question: is she heading back to St. Lucia or staying in London?

Amy Winehouse is finally rid of her icky husband, Blake Fielder-Civil. Today the divorce was granted — although neither of them were there to hear the declaration that their marriage was over. The judge rubber stamped the paperwork after reading that Blake cited adultery (and Amy admitted to it) as a reason to end their legal relationship.

On to the next one, Amy! This time, look for someone who appears to bathe.

You know sometimes it’s tough to think of what to say in a card for a special occasion. How many times can you write the same thing… “Congratulations!” Not too exciting.

Luckily, we have help. Amy Winehouse is coming out with cards AND wrapping paper for all your special occasion and gift-giving needs!

According to The Sun’s source, these will be classy and thoughtful products:

“The first item in the Winehouse range will be wrapping paper with the chorus of Rehab emblazoned all over it. The Amy-branded cards are classy, too. You Know I’m No Good is best for heartfelt apologies and Back to Black, with an appropriate wreath, will be a respectful response to a bereavement.”

So true, so true… It’s almost like I can’t wait for someone to die so I can send the family a comforting Amy Winehouse card.

Mitch Winehouse already expressed his concerns about daughter Amy a few weeks ago, but now the Rehab singer’s friends are getting really worried about her alcohol problem. In a last ditch effort to wake her up, Amy’s mom Janis says two friends are going to St. Lucia to help:

“Two of her closest friends are going over to try to calm her down a bit. I think it will make a big difference because in the past few weeks she’s been bored.

Amy knows her drinking ruined the performance. Of course her band is frustrated, but even they can’t stop her… It’s just another one of Amy’s addictions getting the better of her. It’s yet another demon she has to beat.

She came off drugs on her own so I know she’ll stop drinking too much too. It has to be her decision though, no one else can stop her.”

It’s heart-breaking to think about all the talent she’s drinking away. Let’s hope Amy’s friends are able to smack some sense into her.

In a barely related thought… I almost bought that swimsuit Amy’s wearing in these pictures. Now I’m really glad I didn’t.

Amy Winehouse is supposedly teaming up with PPQ to launch her own line of clothing. But PPQ designer Amy Molyneaux explained the singer’s role… and I’m not sure that there is actually any work associated with it:

“Yes, there have been talks with Amy and we are now in the first stages of the project. The range will be all about high-end statement pieces, inspired by Amy’s style. For example, maybe a dress or an amazing piece of jewelry like a bracelet.

It’s going to be distributed online, we are going to be providing all materials and doing the design, but Amy will definitely be involved in the creative process.”

So… Amy is not providing input… promotion… just her existence.

That’s probably the most they can count on her to do, to be honest. But wow… One huge album and all of a sudden people are asking if they can pay you to exist.

I need to learn to sing.

I’ve loved Duffy since I first heard her over a year ago, with her 60’s-inspired sound. So it THRILLS me to the core to learn there’s a chance I’ll hear her on the next James Bond soundtrack!

According to AllieIsWired.com, Duffy’s one of the top contenders to record the Big Song. Other options include Amy Winehouse… but if I had to choose, it would be Duffy, no question.

Mitch Winehouse must wonder how in the world his daughter became the trainwreck she is today. Although the singer seems to be beating her drug addiction, her dad is worried that she may becoming dependent on alcohol as a crutch.

In a new documentary about Amy, Mitch confesses he’s worried she won’t be able to ditch the bottle:

“After she almost died twice from drug-related problems, to see her walking, smiling — she has progressed so much. But now, if it’s alcohol instead of hard drugs — I don’t think I can go through that again.

She said to me, ‘Dad, thank you for pulling me out of drugs.’ I said to her, ‘But you are the one who decided to pull out. You can do it again and stop drinking.’”

Let’s hope she can. Amy is too talented to waste her gift, especially when she’s so close to saving herself from addiction.

I hope you aren’t getting tired of seeing the same old pictures of Amy Winehouse over and over again — because it’s going to be more of the same for a long time.

The British singer went to court in a bid to protect her privacy, asking that Big Pictures agency (and “persons unknown”) be banned from following and photographing her around her home or the homes of friends. That basically means any paparazzi member who hangs out in those areas can be prosecuted if a single image is snapped.

A source told The Guardian it was becoming a safety issue for Amy:

“Every time she got in her car she was chased or jostled, and it has become unsafe not just for her, but the people around her. We don’t have a problem with the press doing their job but it has become mayhem a couple of times and Amy had to do something.”

While it seems a little out there, Amy isn’t the only singer who’s resorted to court orders to protect herself from the paps. Lily Allen did the same thing only two months ago.

St. Lucia was a refuge and paradise for Amy Winehouse, and she has no desire to live again in London. The Sun’s source claims the singer is looking for island property so she can continue her life of relative tranquility:

“Amy is fed up with all the stress and trauma that comes with being in London. She has made so many friends in St. Lucia and says it feels like home. When she returned to the U.K. in March she felt like a total outsider.

She has her heart set on one house in particular. It is massive, right on the beach and has its own big garden, too.”

Why would anyone want to live in London if the Caribbean was an option? Especially Amy’s version of the Caribbean… she lives at a resort, she drinks till she passes out, she can do whatever she wants without consequence, she cavorts with whatever good-looking young man she comes across, and when she’s sober and not romping with a boy toy she takes lessons to be an acrobat. To what could she possibly object?

Yeah… time for me to start planning a vacation…

Janis spoke to Grazia magazine about her suspicions:

“It sounds like his hands are outstretched not only for him, but for this person he’s made pregnant. To me it seems like a case of ‘lets get our hands out for the money.’ … Amy did everything she could to get back from St. Lucia to support him, and he had been doing that. It’s a blow. He’s divorcing her for adultery but what about this? I think it’s a case of Blake’s showing his true colors now.”
