The new Ghostbusters movie seems to keep changing. For awhile, we were told Seth Rogen and Co. would star in the third installment, but now Dan Aykroyd is telling a different story.
I’m not sure it’s a story I like, either.
The actor says that the original cast has signed on to reprise their roles, and they could start filming as early as the end of this year. Dan told the L.A. Times that he hopes the movie ushers a new generation of heroes into the franchise:
“I’d lik it to be a passing-of-the-torch movie. Let’s revisit the old characters briefly and happily and have them there as family but let’s pass it on to a new generation.”
Who does he recommend?
Alyssa Milano and Eliza Dushku. “I think they’re amazing.”
Alyssa Milano loved baseball even as Samantha Micelli on Who’s The Boss?, and continued to show her appreciation for the sport by dating its stars and creating a line of women’s baseball shirts.
Now, the actress has written a book called Safe at Home: Confessions of a Baseball Fanatic, and revealed that her fascination sets her apart from others:
“Other women dream of papaya facials and mango pedicures. Give me a hot dog, a pitchers’ duel and a late-inning suicide squeeze, and I melt like hot pine tar… To be completely honest, after Barry [Zito] and I broke up, I swore off baseball players. Brad [Penny] had me at , ‘Let’s go down to the clubhouse.’”
Is this a book you want to read? I’m not really all that interested in Alyssa’s memories of baseball players and her defense of steroid use in professional sports (yes, she tries to defend that!). But maybe that’s just because papaya facials don’t sound so bad to me…
This took awhile to surface, but Us Magazine just reported that Alyssa Milano is engaged!
No, not to Jonathan from Who’s the Boss?… though I always secretly thought they’d be right together. She’d boss him around, he’d whine about it, but they’d be supremely happy with the arrangement.
Alyssa is instead marrying David Bugliari. He popped the question December 18 and she said yes to him and the ring (and hopefully NO to the last name).
Alyssa Milano filed for a restraining order against Jeff Turner yesterday in the Los Angeles Superior Court. Turner has been stalking the actress for about two years, and has tried to break into her house. In her court documents, Milano lays it out:
“[Turner is an] obsessed and mentally unstable fan… indicating that unless restrained the conduct is very likely to continue.”
She’s also requested that the order protect her immediate family, too. Unfortunately for Milano, the order won’t be granted until January at the earliest… meaning she’ll be enduring this sort of behavior through the holidays.
