Wow… how does one sit down and record a YouTube announcement about a cancer diagnosis?
Adam Yauch of the Beastie Boys did just that, however, because he wanted fans to hear it from him instead of through a public statement delivered by a spokesperson. He cracked a few jokes, but assured audiences that his cancer is localized and treatable.
