Soon we may be hearing a Maroon 5 song on the radio about Cameron Diaz, because lead singer Adam Levine says he always writes his best songs about girlfriends:
“I tend to be inspired by and write about the relationship I’m in. Cameron and I have known each other for awhile and have been hanging out.”
So he doesn’t want to label her yet, but definitely implying she may be the subject of the next hit. Which is probably flattering to Cameron, but I really don’t want to hear about her via music. How do you feel about it?
Cameron Diaz just hasn’t been the same since Justin Timberlake broke her cougar puma heart. She was fun and tanned and smiley back then… and now she just looks like she’s sitting around waiting for her face to shrivel up in the sun. Sure, she’s dated other people since, but it’s never been the same for old Cameron.
But there may be hope! The actress was seen on a lunch date with Adam Levine from Maroon 5. The two were photographed at the Chateau Marmont on Saturday, which is the equivalent of taking out a full page ad the Sunday paper (that expression is on its last legs, isn’t it?). They obviously want the world to know their relationship has progressed to the point where they’re willing to whore one another out for attention.
Rumors are flying that Australian actress Sophie Monk is dating Adam Levine of Maroon 5. He is her type — Monk was engaged earlier this year to current Paris Hilton beau, Benji Madden.
Monk and Levine have been spending time together at Chateau Marmont, and someone told Page Six, “Adam rolled up on his motorcycle and it was obvious that he was there to see Sophie. They cuddled on the patio… they sat extremely close and were whispering in each other’s ears.”
What do you think? Is it love? Or is Sophie going to end up with an Adam-inspired tattoo she’ll forever regret?
