Uh oh… Oprah’s about to have the most traumatic experience of her life again, since there’s been another sex scandal in her South Africa school. According to the Afrikaans on Sunday newspaper, a 15-year-old girl has been accused of targeting the other girls. A letter to the girl’s parents explained the situation:

“You have been found guilty of physical contact of a sexual nature with another pupil on campus, harassment, bullying other girls on campus and of being dishonest by not telling investigators the whole truth.”

Oprah’s pet project has had a lot of scandal for only two years of operation. How is she going to stop it in the future? This is what she did LAST time…

Alyson Hannigan and hubby Alexis Denisof just welcomed home their first baby, little Satyana Denisof!

What makes Satyana’s birth even more special is that she arrived March 24th, which happens to be Alyson’s birthday, too.

Congratulations to the little family!

Uh… what is your gut reaction to Lady Gaga’s interview responses?

Maybe she’s just… tired?

In an entirely unrelated statement, Lady Gaga used to be a big-time drug user.

Growing up, I wanted to be a violinist, a ballerina, and a painter (simultaneously). In Parks & Recreation, Amy Poehler explains that she always dreamed of being a ranger… or something like that.

Are you excited about this show?

I’m hoping for a new favorite!

Traveling to his native Malawi with adopted mom Madonna was an emotional experience for little David Banda. He was reunited with his biological father Yohane Banda… but didn’t recognize him at first. He couldn’t remember the language, either, and needed a translator.

How sad for Yohane. He spoke to reporters about his heartbreak:

“He asked me who I was. When I told him, ‘I am your daddy’ he looked surprised. It’s amazing how David has grown; I can’t believe he is the same small and sickly baby we left at Home of Hope [orphanage].

He seems to be a polite boy for he asked if he could sit on my lap… He is quite chatty and intelligent. He asked me lots of questions about lots of things. He asked me whether I ride horses. I told him horses are for the rich and he asked me why I am poor…

He told me his mom plays music and asked me what I do for life. I told him I was a farmer. He asked what a farmer does and I explained to him that we use hoes to till the land. He told me his daddy, Mr. Ritchie, took him to a farm but it had a tractor. I told him Africa we use hoes. He seems to like his daddy, Mr. Ritchie, so much that I was a little sad Madonna broke up with him. I would have loved it if they had sorted out whatever problems they had instead of divorcing because divorce is bad for kids.”

That must’ve been so hard for Yohane. Hopefully he still believes this was the best option for his son.

Whoopi Goldberg is doing a brave thing. The talk show host plans to address her decade-long fear of flying on The View tomorrow morning. A therapist will visit the show to help her and to usher her into a flight simulator.

Whoopi admits she’s nervous:

“I am sweating a lot. My mind is doing bad stuff to me. I am not a good flyer. I don’t like it. I don’t wanna do it.”

Whoopi has to go to London soon for a business commitment, and that’s why she’s decided to conquer her fear once and for all. But honestly, why doesn’t she just take a boat with Michael Jackson? Flying is not my favorite right now…

Despite their commitment to bettering the world through reality television, the Osbournes are getting banned in Panama City, Florida.

FOX affiliate WPGX is refusing to air Osbournes: Reloaded. The station’s general manager, David Cavileer,  said it was a bad fit for a conservative community:

“I just felt it was not keeping with community standards. This show in my market does not serve my public in Panama City. I did not feel it was appropriate.”

Instead of the Osbourne family, WPGX plans to air the formerly-controversial show The Simpsons.

Apparently I decided that packing ahead of time is for Losers, because I put it off until the last minute. Now I’m frantically throwing things into my suitcase, hoping I haven’t forgotten anything important. I’ll be leaving for the airport soon, where hopefully they will have wi-fi so you can hear from me again. If not… wish me luck! I really don’t want another 28 hour trip…

UPDATE #1: No wi-fi available in La Guardia, and no Starbucks, either. I choked down some Dunkin’ Donuts coffee and resigned myself being out of touch with all of you who haven’t started following on Twitter. I’m now on my [microscopic] layover, and dropped my carry-on and coffee long enough to say hello. I’ll be back soon, I promise!

UPDATE #2: Got in safe and sound!

Okay, so I thought I’d do one more post before grabbing my coffee… big mistake. I was trying to watch the trailer for Zooey Deschanel’s new movie, Gigantic, and couldn’t manage it. I had two or three playing at the same time, but the sad part is I figured the fact that I was hearing everything more than once was normal.

Sooo out of it. I need my coffee.

But since my current sanity situation is in the air, I’m going to leave you with the trailer. After all I’ve sacrificed to bring it to you, I want to be sure you to have it.

I’m through my first venti coffee (it’s only 9:15 a.m.!), but I’m still exhausted. The wedding was last night, and it went awfully late considering the height of my heels. I WOULD still be curled up in bed, except today I’m taking my family sightseeing… and needed to come update all of you first!

That’s what we call “dedication.”

So while I get up for another cup of Starbucks to make up for all the sleep I’m not getting, you enjoy this clip of synchronized swimming… in Russia… in an office. Yes.

This makes me almost wish I still worked in an office… because it would be fun to try this during a lunch hour.

One of the women in the video, Mosha Dugina, said everyone was excited to participate:

“We were all really energetic and enthusiastic to do it. It was such a breath of fresh air to do something where we got the chance to show off a little and show people that we have beautiful long legs. Most of the time we just sit by our desks and all everyone normally sees is our top halves.”

The women all work in an architects’ firm, and won a cash prize for their efforts. They deserve it!
