Sharon Stone thinks her 8-year-old son is ready for Botox.
You read that correctly. The actress apparently has a problem with the child’s feet — she thinks they smell bad, and wants to correct that with Botox injections.
Can you imagine the discussion? “Hey, sweetie, Mommy wants to inject just a teeny tiny bit of toxic poison into your feet so they don’t get so stinky, okay? Yes, that’s right — it’s the same shot that makes Mommy’s face stop moving.”
Sharon, sweetie, smelling bad will protect him from the Grand High Witch.
Don’t tell me you’ve never seen this movie! It is one of the best films of my childhood!

Long Island-lover Billy Joel has put his money where his lyrics are.
Fisherman Edwin Flores went missing more than a week ago, but his body was found off the Long Island Sound beach six days after he disappeared. The cause of death has yet to be confirmed by the coroner, following an autopsy.
Joel learned of the situation, and quietly donated a large sum of money to the North Oyster Bay Baymen’s Association to help cover funeral costs.

Merv Griffin would be rolling over in his grave right now if he knew what his company was doing.
So no one tell him, okay? That would be… un-fun. I don’t want to think of Merv as a zombie. Moving back on track…
The Griffin Group, Inc., a company started by Merv before he died in 2007, is suing Ed McMahon (of rap music fame) for money they lent him three years ago. Merv and Ed were friends for decades, and it’s doubtful that anyone would’ve called the loan if the company were still run by its founder. Now, the Griffin Group’s claim just adds to the pile of bills Ed McMahon can’t pay.
Hope McMahon can sell his home at The Summit.

No one knows why, but Janet Jackson was rushed to the hospital today while in Montreal for a concert (that was later canceled). Stranger still than her mysterious illness is the fact that she was released only two hours later. Other shows in Boston and and Philadelphia were postponed, but sources say she’ll be up and around in time for her scheduled concert in Greensboro, North Carolina.
It’s the healing ambrosia of Southern sweet tea that will make her well enough to sing.
No one is uttering a peep about why she was hospitalized, or why — if she’s been released — she can’t currently perform. The only ones who have even hinted are her verbally-stingy PR people, who say Jackson’s now “recuperating.”
According to Jezebel.com, a tongue-in-cheek domain — VotefortheMILF.com — until sometime this afternoon redirected visitors to John McCain’s presidential campaign page. Now it just takes you to a lame Wikipedia entry about registering domain names.
Anyone else curious who put it up, and who took it down?
My money’s on “First Dude” Todd Palin for establishing the name…

Jimmy Kimmel and Sarah Silverman dated for five years before calling it quits this summer. Awkwardly brought back together when Sarah won an Emmy for the song she dedicated on-air to Jimmy, “I’m F***king Matt Damon,” the two have recently been spotted together holding hands.
Not as convincing as an engagement ring, but considering their past it seems plausible they’re back together.
Honestly, I can’t image either of them with anyone else… well. Sarah and Matt Damon, maybe.

Angelina and Brad deserve some credit — not only have they adopted kids from all over the world, they’ve also highlighted poverty in many nations that threatens both children who have parents and those who don’t.
Inspired by their example, Joely Fisher and her husband, Christopher Duddy, began looking into adopting a child (between the two of them, they already had four: Cameron, 22; Collin, 20; Skylar, 7; True, 2). They discovered that while poverty is a problem on other continents, it was also a problem in their own backyard. A family friend told People magazine, “After looking into the adoption process, they realized there were so many children in the L.A. area who needed homes.”
So instead of looking in Malawi or Vietnam, Joely and Christopher welcomed Olivia Luna Fisher-Duddy, from South Central Los Angeles, into their family. Congratulations to the Fisher-Duddys!
Okay, Helena Bonham Carter and her sexy beast of a man Tim Burton are known for their odd attire. But at least this time Helena seems to have a reason. She was spotted wearing some Z Coil shoes, which are supposed to ease foot pain. My guess is that she just liked the way they look.
